The MSAD #46, SAD #4 & TCTC Innovative Regional Comprehensive High School Committee has been hard at work creating the components for the application due December 29, 2017. The application requires the Committee to develop ideas, dreams and concepts about the way teaching and learning in this school would be innovative and integrated across higher education, career and technical education, and traditional high school education.  The Committee has been working hard to develop frameworks and concepts for the school’s programming, governance and administration. There is still a lot of work ahead of us, but here’s what has happened so far:

  1. The Committee has agreed via consensus upon a framework for the programmatic concept of the school.

  2. The Committee has agreed via consensus upon a governance and administration framework for the school.
    1. Documents not yet available. Will be uploaded to the website as soon as they are available.
  3. The Committee is reviewing and updating the mission and vision statements that were included in Part 1 of the application process.
    1. Anticipated finalization, approval and adoption of the mission and vision statements is set for the November 15 meeting.
    2. The mission and vision statements are open for comments. Click the link to read the statement and add your comments/thoughts.

The Committee is also working to schedule a meeting with our Industry and Higher Education Partners to update them on the project, hear their feedback, ideas, and needs, and move forward with them together to make this school deeply connected and synthesized with our community employers and colleges.
