From Superintendent Jordan:
At approximately 9:45 AM this morning local authorities informed us that a bomb threat had been received specifically naming the Ridge View Community School. All students and staff were safely evacuated to Dexter Regional High School where parents were reunified with their children. A State Police canine bomb-sniffing unit performed an extensive search of the school and found nothing suspicious. The school will be in session tomorrow with an added Police presence. Thank you to all of the staff, students, and the Dexter Police Department for handling a very stressful situation in a calm professional manner.
MSAD #46 has been awarded funds to support students and the MSAD #46 school community to address the needs and challenges that have arisen due to the coronavirus pandemic. This form is a place to provide input on how MSAD #46 plans to use the American Rescue Plan (ARP) relief funds.
The MSAD #46 ARP application is based on meeting three priorities to support learning as a result of :
-Engaging and challenging learning environments for all learners, regardless if they are in-person or remote learning.
-Healthy and safe learning environments for all learners and staff
-Supportive learning environments for all learners and staff, focusing on social, emotional, and behavioral learning and well-being.
At least 20% of these funds must be intentionally allocated to addressing learning loss through the implementation of evidence-based interventions. The rest of the funds may be used for a wide range of activities to address needs arising from the coronavirus pandemic.
This form should take approximately 5-10 minutes to complete this form and is for members of the greater MSAD #46 community only. This form is 100% anonymous. We will collect some minor demographic data to help us best understand the implementation ideas of the responses we receive. Please provide as much information as you can.
