A New Way to Plan and Learn

Dear Parents and Community Members,

We are excited to share an update on how our teachers are planning lessons and curriculum. Our district is moving to a new curriculum mapping system that will use tools from Google, such as Google Docs and Google Classroom. This change will make it easier for our teachers to work together and share lesson plans, which will help create a more consistent learning experience for our students across all grade levels.

This new system will also give teachers and staff a better way to see what is being taught and when, which helps us make sure we are meeting all of our educational goals. In addition, a consistent Google platform will help us improve public transparency. We hope this will make it easier for you to access and follow our active curriculum online, so you can better support your child’s learning.

Our goal is to make teaching and learning as effective as possible, and we believe this new approach will help us do just that.

We will continue to keep you updated on our progress. The full transition from Atlas to Google will be completed by October 1, 2025, and all information can be found on the Curriculum-Instruction-Assessment page on the website. Thank you for your continued support of our schools!
