The Committee working on the Regional Comprehensive High School Project and Application welcomed and met with our potential partners in Industry and Higher Education last night (November 8, 2017) at Tri-County Technical Center. Superintendent Kevin Jordan welcomed the large crowd of interested people and potential partners and walked through the application process (where we’ve been and where we’re going… hopefully…). Then, Director of Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment Matt Drewette-Card shared the Committee’s work on developing an innovative and integrated program that seamlessly integrates traditional high school, career and technical education, industry, and higher education. The group then split into two (Industry and Higher Education), and went further into specific details, answered questions, and brainstormed possibilities. Many of the partners who attended last night deepened their commitment to helping make this project continue and go forward.
